We are delighted to announce the continuation of the 2-year-long partnership between Unibo Motorsport and VESevo. In this collaboration, the company not only supplies the team with the VESevo device but also share their knowledge about tires. VESevo’s technology grants the Unibo Motorsport Team the capability to conduct non-destructive analyses of tire tread viscoelasticity. Based on this information, the team has the possibility to prepare the race in the best possible way, by having the ability to create strategies on tire management.

Also this year UBM successfully conducted the viscoelastic analysis of tire compounds.
The recent test marks a significant step forward in our quest to improve motorcycle performance, with particular attention to tire-road interaction. VESevo’s technology allowed us to delve deeper into the complexities of tire compounds through viscoelastic analysis, providing indications that contributed to the improvement of the prototyping and design phases, to a more accurate choice of tires to use during the race. All this activity allowed us to reach the final victory.
VESevo can boast among its customers 5 Formula 1, 4 Formula 3, 3 MotoGP teams and around 30 customers on 4 continents. This shows the adaptability of this technology which can be used in very different competitions, from Formula 1 to Student Championships and also that the advantage obtained from the collection of this data has no categories.
