UniBo Motorsport takes a double podium finish in the VI-Grade Virtual Formula 2022 with a win and a second place
After last year’s results with a first place for the electric project and a third place for the combustion one, the motor team of the University of Bologna is confirmed at the top of the virtual competition organised by VI-Grade. This year the team has improved the results achieved in the last edition with a great victory reached with the combustion vehicle and a second place with the electric one.
The Virtual Formula is a representation of a real Formula Student competition in which the drivers go through the same tests organised for the physical races trying to obtain the best scores in each one. The points gained in the individual sessions are then added up into a single final score that decrees the final ranking.
Our dynamics department with its manager Andrea Pedrazzi and driver Lorenzo Rubino worked hard to ensure that the team could confirm what it had achieved last season. By improving on what they got a year ago, the students of the Alma Mater have once again shown the worthiness of their project and that hard work always pays off in the end.
Another great result for the Bologna team, which with the Virtual Formula marks the official start of the racing season and once again confirms its position at the top of student competitions. An excellent start that gives the whole team the right attitude to keep on working hard in view of the appointments for the coming months. Waiting to hit the track with the new prototypes to compete and continue to bring up the colours of the University of Bologna.
