The team of the University of Bologna wins the prestigious competition organized by Red Bull and MEF
UniBo Motorsport takes flight triumphing in the first edition of the Red Bull MotoBoost.
This competition, organized by Red Bull and Moto Engineering Foundation, does not involve a race on track between the different teams, but has the main objective of boosting creativity and innovation, providing extra motivation to the students participating in the competition.
The teams, on a practical level, find themselves having to implement aerodynamic appendages on the fairings of their motorbike in order to improve the performance of the prototype.
The prize awarded offers some guys who have worked on this project the opportunity to experience the emotions of the four days of the MotoGP Austrian Grand Prix up close, thanks to Red Bull and MotoStudent, in association with KTM and Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
Given the difficulty of the challenge to which our guys were called and the numerous and high competition, formed by both Combustion and Electric MotoStudent teams, the victory makes not only the team proud, but also all the University. Despite the ongoing health emergency, the team has never stopped the design and the desire to achieve the objectives set, demonstrating the commitment and dedication with which the guys work, as well as the passion that unites the whole group.
It is therefore with the best spirits that the Team is preparing to face the next challenge: the VI edition of the MotoStudent, which will see the team take to the track on the Aragòn circuit from 15 to 18 July.
