After the excellent Italian experience, the UniBo Motorsport team moved to Germany, from 8 to 13 August.
After passing the Scrutineering during the first days of the race, verifying where compliance with the regulation and the various static events are evaluated with good scores, the team was able to concentrate on continuing the competition with the transition to dynamic tests.
Unfortunately, following the failure to pass a post Endurance test, the last and most important test of the competition, UniBo Motorsport was unable to receive the score it deserved.
The Ubm 17 Felsinea had been run in the race at the Riccardo Paletti circuit in Varano de ’Melegari (Parma) and therefore came to the German challenge, already a thigh of its potential.
Despite some unforeseen events, she managed to reach some important milestones such as the final in the “Most Innovative Powertrain System” special prize sponsored by the MTU company.
The team returns home aware of having experienced a unique opportunity to grow, which stimulates it and gives it the impetus to aim for Formula Student Spain (Montmeló circuit – 23 to 27 August), more determined than ever!
